Is it really worth the possibility of damaging your body for the sake of a couple of suspect lens (Some of the old lenses are dirty and seem to have fungus growing on the external surfaces of the lenses) You would be better off trying to get secondhand Cannon fit lens for your body and know that you will not damage anything.
