yes it is the northeren lights - Interesting story actually - was flying back from the states - takes the route really north - was looking at it for ages, thought they were clouds at first being illuminated by the sun somehow - but further north we went, became clear they were the lights, it was fantastic to look at and I was so chuffed to see them - just gutted I could not get a better pic at all, I tried everything out the window, but with lighting, the way the windows, long exposure out the window, this was the best i could get....
