This was one of the last shots of the day yesterday, in a location i never intended going to. I had been hill walking to Cort-ma Law in the Campsie Fells and decided to continue onto Meikle Bin. On the way down from Meikle Bin, the map showed there was a path leading to the road through the forest. 2.5 miles later - dead end! So back along to where i started to follow another path for about 4 miles which took me in completely the wrong direction from where i was aiming (and meaning about a 7 mile hike back to my intended destination). Still, it was a nice day and the views are always spectacular round here so the sore legs and sunburn were worth it! The weekend walks over friday, saturday and sunday covered over 60 miles of track, hill and bog! You know what they say - get fit, or die trying!!!
