Folks,
Thought I’d ask you well educated musofiles if you can recommend any on-line forums/web sites where members chew the fat on music of all types in a civilised manner. To music like what PT is to photography … if you get my drift
There are a few forums where there are plenty of inane rants with people slagging off others over their views and stuffed full of techno-dance, hip-hop & rap etc. I’m thinking more along the lines of the thinking person’s forum for blues, jazz, rock, indie, rock & roll, contemporary country etc with intelligent conversation and recommendations. Where people help each other and are respectful & supportive. Where you are likely to get info, links, advice and “if you like that then try this” type recommendations etc.
I get a lot of my downloads from eMusic which does have forums but alas there isn’t much activity
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Oh, and this a.m. on the trip to work I was mostly listening to The Raconteurs – Consolers Of The Lonely
