Are the bird and background merged shots? There seems to be a small dark outline around the bird and there is a little white mark just below its crop. The image is great though - i don't want to sound like i'm knocking it in any way - but a couple of small tweaks could make it even better.

I take it that "merged" means the bird has been placd on a different background? ifso No, the only PP work done is cloning out of a jessie, levels alteration and a slight unsharp mask. I can see a little white dot but not sure what that is?
