HI Beth,

Well you are certainly talking to the converted here, I am really enjoying your on going project and this image is no exception. The lighting / shadows are so subtle yet you have still managed to get an appealing catch light.

Moving around the image I’m struct by the repetitive space shapes, where ever I look, I’m seeing triangles and implied triangles in the posing of the subject, that are balanced by the repetitive rectangles of the wall.

The choice to have part of your bottom hand on show adds interest to an area that could have been negative space and forms a leading line that takes me to the upper hand. The bottom hand is a little bit to contrasty and I'd consider toning it down.

The only thing that causes pause is the space to the top left of the umbrella, while it does have an implied triangle, it also provides me with a stop to come back into the image.
