On Monday, 19th of May 2008 Lennox Castle in Lennoxtown was sadly severely damaged in a devastating fire.

The impressive mansion house was already in a poor state after years of neglect and vandalism, but it is feared that the damage from the fire will result in the castle being demolished.

This HDR image of the castle during the blaze is my tribute to its memory.
