very easy to use, focus is on the slightly noisy side since it doesnt have USM, but not noisy enough to be irritable.

the mount is plastic, not metal, which makes it small, light and cheap compared to the more expensive lenses

Great for portraits, still shots, studio shots, whatever it might be.

I love this lens it produces extremely sharp images, playing with this at f/1.8. it may be the one of cheapest canon lenses, its definitely value for money, and should be in everyones bag
