Steve, first off mate, calm down...
remember, everyone expects you to be in charge so BE IN CHARGE!!!
if it helps, write down the list of shots you need to do. your first (and many after!) you will forget stuff.
ie
B&G
B&G & parents x3
B&G & Bmds
B&G & Bmds & Ushers
all the hens with the Bride
All the stags with the Groom
G
G & Bm (& then UShers)
grooms family
brides family
everyone
friends
you get the picture...
always maintain voice control with your party. dont shout but be loud enough to let everyone know your instructions.
keep the vicar (if you have one) on your side.
When at the reception, keep in touch with the person in charge of the food/room etc
the ushers are there to do a job, make them find people for your next shot.
detail shots are great, lots of the room while everyone has a drink and nibbles etc.
dont use a tripod unless you really need to. it will slow you down beyond belief unless you have an assistant.dont be afraid to stop taking pictures to move people out of the background. trust me, dont leave it for P'shop work!
this may all sound heavy duty but if you stick to a plan that can be adapted to anything that suddenly changes things you will be fine. keep some water on you and try to eat plenty before you go out.
to be honest, quite jealous now...
