Keep the mother of the bride on your side from the start, to prevent her from trying to take over. Watch for handbags in group shots, if all ladies have them ok, but if only a few, then lose them completely as it looks out of place. Try to avoid the confetti throwing too early after the ceremony as this will show up in every image. Have a laugh, keep it light hearted and enjoy yourself. When doing large group shots, I carry an old police whistle and when the time is right give a sharp blow as this then attracts the attention of all towards the camera. A slightly overcast day is better than a hot sunny day photograpically, but if the sun is against you then don't forget fill in and try to carry a reflector.
