Working in the professional classical music world, the last thing that a child is taught is to learn to rest totally irrevelant parts of their body on the instrument.
A true musician respects their instrument. I know the girl is only a child but this can do some serious damage to the instrument.

It appears that she see's it more as a friend than an inanimate object, something she is involved with...a bond. This is the mark of a true musician.
