Just joined the site today and finding it intuitive and friendly so far with lots of interesting posts

I've been interested in photography for years now. I did a C&G in black and white years ago then simply enjoyed personal travel photography. I went on safari in 2001 and then everything changed; in 2004 I spent a year abroad volunteering with wildlife and a couple of years after that discovered a degree course in Wildlife Photography, which I embarked on last September.

My course is conceptual and so we're rarely actually taking pictures of wildlife, but we have some cool field trips and I'm learning a lot of about nature in science/current affairs, etc. We cover a little photojournalism and I'm into documentary at the minute too.

I'm sure I'll find lots of help in the forums and look forward to chatting to you all regularly!
