Lots of space in this image ... and it really benefits from that. Beautiful colours.
I do like the space above the birds however for me there is another image here as well, a crop just a little above the birds gives a different and equally good image (not better just different). I agree with Andy about the amount of sea being spot on.
Nice to see Pelicans flying .... not something you see often in photographs.
