seems to me you need to shell out for the polarizer then to stop the sunflare ... if you are thinking of buying second hand... which i have done on a few occasions then try matthew at One of the UK's Best Stocked Dealers, Part Exchange Welcome, Collection Service Available or London Camera Exchange, Search Results.
i have bought second hand from both of these shops in the past and they check all their equipment before selling it on!
and are willing to barter!
ebay is worth watching at times... i picked my 100mm macro up from ebay for £250 from a fella who had no idea what he was doing with it.. it was basically brand new and he left the polarizer on hehe
