The choice is yours, the freeze options are there to make things a little easier for members but if you're really up for a complete random challenge, then keep hitting the
Challenge Me button until something appeals to you and don't freeze anything.
Look at it his way, the more options you freeze the less challenging it can be. If you really want to throw yourself in feet first, simply accept the system has chosen for you as this can be the best way to find out more about your camera.
Good luck with the challenges, I know a number of members have already found PP extremely useful and have learned lots and it does get the old gray mater working harder to get photographs you'd normally not think about taking.
