Default Bulb Filament

These two images were done for a photo competition with the title "Close Up" but never entered them as I managed some better images. But anyway, both of these images were taken using a Nikon D200 with Sigma 105mm Macro lens, lighting was via a remote SB800, the top image had both a red and blue filter over the flash head side by side so that both colours were separate. The bottom image had just the red filter.
The bulb used was just a 12volt car indicter bulb, and I managed to break the glass carefully as I did not want any glare from the glass, the bulb was then fixed to the top of a tripod with bluetak and a black mountboard was positioned behind, flash position on the top image was from below front and from the left on the bottom image.
