Thank you Andy...I understand about the light hitting the flower from the front but still not sure about the mirror; this always leaves me puzzled. My thinking was, that if I had the stem arching into the image, that this would suit the natural movement of the eye....and then, again, I do see it done the other way, at times, and it seems fine
