Hi Else, i struggled with my new camera and focal lengths then realised its the scale on the lens you need to look at. it doesnt show anywhere in the viewfinder. Just googled your camera and it does have replacement lenses. Think its the EOS400D over here. So have a look for the scale on the outside of the lenses.
Anyway, difficult challenge, i would have just shot a passing car! like the reflections, i might have got down lower and got more of an angle level with the cars. No right or wrong though, its all subjective.
