I am in 2 minds about this.
I don't offer much in the war of helpful advice, since I don't consider I have enough photography experience for it to be valuable, and hence I don't offer much.
However I do value the advice of others.
I worry that any system that limits people could have an overall negative effect on the traffic to the site, so we must be careful not to kill the site off in the process.
Perhaps you should limit the number of posts to the gallery to 1 per member per day. Then how about a rating system that allows you to "DIG" or similar the comments made by others and these points would increase your daily posting allowance.
100+ - An extra post per day
500+ - 2 post per day
etc.
This would encourage the use of advice while allowing the others with less confidence still to make active use of the site.
Just an idea?
