hmmm tricky one Barry...the block on the right is metal with screw holes so i presume that would be fixed onto something. the object on the left does look metalic but i dont think it can be because the edges in the cutout bit look a little freyed and worn, plus there is an indentation down the length of it - could the object on the left be leather? you've got me and i need to have another think about it. back later.
