always a debate on RGB and sRGB. sRGB has smaller gamut than adobe 1998 RGB. however, unless being used for high repro/colour approval, not sure many would notice. i use adobe 1998 for everything and that works for me..

as for calibration, always calibrate in the light you work in, provided you dont have light shining directly onto the screen. i try to calib at least once a month..gretag macbeth is ours once done compare screen to a good print to finalise..
