Happy Valentines Hippy-Di!....enjoy every lick. No matter how modern and fancy we get now, on Valentines, nothing can compare to the absolute magic it held for me as a young school girl growing up on the Canadian prairies. The sun always shone bright and the days seemed just abit longer and Valentines was a landmark that we reached for, to get through a stint of near unbearable cold. We felt like the scales were beginning to tip towards spring, which would be here in another 2 month, if we were lucky.
