As for photoshopping the shot. To be honest, apart from cropping off a little from the bottom to lose a tiny bit of the dark area, I would leave as is. Its going to be difficult to play with this one. If you know the weather is going to afford you such wonderful light again...then return to the same spot and vary the exposures so maybe you could do a HDR version of this wonderful view.
