I agree with Debbie on a second battery, as for memory card reader well that is down to personal taste, I know a lot of people that use them and a lot who don't including me, my usb wire is always connected to my pc and I just plug it into the side of my camera whenever I need to download images. The other item you may find of interest is a filter be it a skylight to protect front element of lens near water or sea. Or a polirizer filter to remove or enhance reflections. Then just start using your camera and see what you get interested in, be it Macro (Macro Lens), Nature (Telephoto Lens), or Flash photography (External Flashgun).
