I cant fault the colours on this, But I think the composition could be improved. As the eye is first attracted to bright areas, I immediately went to the sky and so missed the reflections and the curve of the river going up to the boats. You could try a couple of things, darken the sky (black to transparent gradient layer blended is soft light) or crop the top a bit and if you do this, maybe crop a bit of the grass on the left. Myself, I would probably crop because I think the horizon is too central. However all this is just a matter of personal choice.
I much prefer this to the other Skipool pic.
